About the course
The course presents a complete change of scenery with the typical surrounding landscape of the Brabant region. The course is not very long but it has all the beauties of heathland, sandy soil, firs and birch trees, ponds, lakes and water hazards lining the mainly flat and narrow fairways. Fairways and greens are immaculately maintained, and the player will enjoy his and her game on this course which is never tiring and discouraging but requires accurate shots. The course provides a fair challenge for golfers of all levels but it does require some physical staying power and a good physical condition. Well maintained with rough and undergrowth this is a perfect course for enjoying yourself and practicing your short iron game. Wayward golfers will feel the pressure of a lot of out-of-bounds and several strategic lakes call for subtle strategy, especially on holes 2, 15 and 18, the latter being edged by a lake and overlooked by the clubhouse which offers a warm atmosphere in its various lounges, bar and dining room - all with terraces and lovely views over the lake. Keerbergen is a private member club.
