About the course
Golf de Rigenée is a course in the typical open countryside of the Wallon Brabant. Very closeby the battle of Waterloo took place where Wellington defeated Napoleon in 1815. Initially based on its length, Rigenée golf course was remodelled and is now more technical and more varied. Westerly winds play a decisive role at the first holes, which are not too demanding. Things becomes earnest at the turn: at the 9th, a shorter par 4, defended by a pond, you will almost definitely have to play against the wind, at the longer par 4 10th you can easily reach the green in two and at the 11th, a par 5, you cannot afford to make any wayward shots if you do want to play two or three over. After the 15th you can relax and start to think of the 19th. A wide range of tuition programs are offered. The club has a welcoming atmosphere and is ideal for friends and family. Courses nearby: Waterloo, Bercuit, Sept-Fontaine.
