About the course
This is widely recognized as the finest public golfing facility in Calgary. White sand bunkers and seven lakes have been incorporated into the links-style design of the course, which is beautifully situated on the banks of the Bow River and offers spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies, the river and lakes, and the City of Calgary. The facility also provides superior training facilities, including a double-teed driving range and four teaching professionals. The club hosts numerous corporate and amateur tournaments, as well. The signature hole is #15, a 196-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a two-tiered green with a pot bunker on the right side. The 5957-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 72.8 and slope of 126.
