About the course
This course built its original nine holes in 1920 before the back nine was added in 1983, resulting in diverse characteristics. The fairways on the front nine are tree lined and average width. The back nine is wide open but plays narrower because of the water that comes into play on seven holes. The front side greens are small and undulating, and the back nine greens are large, undulating and a few are tiered. All of the greens are fast paced. The signature hole is #11, a 150-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water onto a large, two-tiered green.
