About the course
This eighteen hole course has the majestic Columbia River rolling through the design and the rugged Rocky Mountains serve as a backdrop. The course was named "Canadian Golf Course of the Year" for 1998 by "The National Golf Course Owners Association." Water comes into play on fourteen holes, primarily from the Columbia River, which winds its way through the course. The beckoning fairways and impeccably-manicured greens contrast the sparkling white sand bunkers. Holes vary in both length and terrain, offering a good test for golfers of all abilities. A unique feature on this course is the four bridges that were built across the Columbia. The signature hole is #5, a 180-yard, par 3, which requires two crossings of the river from the back tees. Adding to the challenge of this spectacular hole is a bunker that guards the front of the green. The forward tees offer a dry route to the green. The course does overseed as necessary, but has not set aside a specific time of the year. The 6,102-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.4 and slope of 133.
