About the course
This course is situated in a valley amongst the Rocky Mountains. The layout is very scenic with mountains and numerous mature trees surrounding the course. The design is very challenging and precise tee shots are crucial, due to the high number of water hazards throughout the golf course. The signature hole is #3, a 218-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot that must carry to the green. A large water hazard is lining the right side of the fairway and the green is heavily bunkered. Bill Newis redesigned this course. The 5,441-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 69.9 and a slope of 122. The 6,106-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.5 and a slope of 133.
