About the course
This classically-designed course was cut out of the wilderness and maintains the lands natural beauty and terrain. A unique feature is the secluded holes being isolated from one another. The wide fairways are densely tree lined and the greens are fairly large, with the majority having undulation. A particularly challenging hole is #11, a 430-yard, par 4, with a fairway flanked by six sand bunkers and water on the right. In order to play the hole well your tee shot must carry over one of the bunkers. There is a creek flowing through the course affecting play on seven holes. Falcon Lake was ranked as one of the top 15 prairie courses by "Canadian Course Ranking Magazine." The nine hole green fee is available early mornings on the back nine. The nine hole cart rate is a single rider fee. The 6,443-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 76.1 and a slope of 130.
