About the course
This club is located in a valley and features an eighteen hole championship course, Turtle Lake, and a small par 3 course, named Trillium. The Turtle Lake Course is quite hilly with very well-bunkered fairways. The undulating greens are fast and several are elevated. The scenic signature hole is #17, a 161-yard, par 3, with an elevated tee box providing a panoramic view of the entire course. The green is protected in front by a large pond and guarded by surrounding trees. A difficult hole is #8, a 382-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot of more than 200 yards over water to a tight fairway. The green is isolated and if your approach is long you'll find yourself at the bottom of a hill. Blue Springs is the home of the CPGA offices and the qualifying course for the Ladies' Professional Tour. The three forward tees have slope and course ratings for ladies. The Trillium is a great course for beginning golfers and short game practice. There are specials each week, including Ladies' Day, 2 for 1, and Senior's Day.
