About the course
This facility has three nine hole courses, collectively known as Deer Creek North, which are played in three eighteen hole combinations, as well as two additional nines, playing together in an eighteen hole layout called The South Course. Deer Creek North's character is built on its championship length, premium conditioning and challenging design. The Diamond, Ruby and Onyx nines flow together beautifully to create the "Precious Jewels" of the Durham Region. The South Course hosts a large number of corporate outings, tournaments and special events. The Emerald and Sapphire combination are home to the finest greens in the area. The Deer Creek clubhouse has a country club atmosphere that provides everyone with a relaxing and entertaining venue in both the formal dining room and the Terrace by the Green marquee. The Jim McLean Golf Academy is ranked as the #1 golf school in America and now has been added as the first world class golf school in Canada.
