About the course
This course was carved out of natural cedar and fir overlooking the Ottawa River. Both the old nine and the newer nine, which was built in 1988, consist of well-maintained fairways, some wide, some tight, and well-bunkered greens. Eight of the holes offer a view of Ottawa River. The course record of 64 speaks for the difficulty the long hitter can have with the number of dogleg fairways. An intimidating hole is #2, a 161-yard, par 3, which requires 91 yards of carry to a lean, sloping, well-bunkered green.
