About the course
This spectacular course has a sign that reads, " The Most Northerly Golf Course in Ontario." This course is very challenging and particularly popular with locals and fishermen alike. The course is well outlined with a variety of mature trees and sits along the shores of McNeely Bay on Red Lake. The tree-lined fairways vary between narrow and wide, while the greens vary in size, speed and undulation. Both bays come into play on three holes, and dogleg fairways on two others. There are two holes on this course that will catch your eye; #7, a 637-yard, par 5, which requires your patience as you maneuver down this long fairway to the green. This hole offers you a perfect view of the Placer Dome Gold Mine. Hole #14, a 402-yard, par 4, requires an approach shot over a sand bunker to the green, which has a beautiful picturesque view of McNeely Bay.
