About the course
This eighteen-hole, championship course is situated in a valley, and contains a mix of parkland and links-style holes. As such, the fairways vary between tree-lined and open. The medium-sized greens are nicely undulated and moderate in speed. Water comes into play on eleven holes. The course ranges from 5,337 to 6,711-yards and there are four sets of tees to challenge all handicaps. Deer Valley opened for play July 2001. Signature Hole: 2 - #2 is a 176-yard, par 3, that begins with a 90-foot drop from the back tee, down to the fairway. A large tree protects the left side of the green, and a creek protects the back and right sides. This hole affords a stunning view of the surrounding valley.
