About the course
The Danish golf course designer Frederik Dreyer carefully laid out this golf course into an area of moorland with hedges and woods which is so typical for this part of Denmark. The course is very beautiful when the heather blooms from pink to deep purple and covers the ground like pillows. Due to its length and the prevailing wind blowing from the North Sea, this course offers great challenges. The considerable distances, the wind, numerous hazards, skilfully integrated into the natural setting, complicate the game. While the first two holes are quite relaxing, matters become serious on the third and fourth hole, the longest of the course and with a very difficult green which is right behind a creek. The terrain takes you up and down. You have to be a good walker on this course. The second nine holes, tricky and challenging, lead you through a varied and almost untouched terrain.
