  About the course

At Courson there are four nine-hole loops all on slightly undulating terrain. The "Green and Black" combination: The par 4 holes of the Green are even for the medium-handicapper quite awe-inspiring, so don't be afraid to play off from the forward tees. The Black is less strenuous, is sometimes hilly and there is a lot of water at the final holes. The landscape here has a regal character. Sand hills and hillocks separate the fairways and this is not to everybody's taste. The generous greens are often terraced and protected by impressive bunkers, which means that a wayward approach shot can easily lead to a poor putting score. Usually more than two shots are needed to reach the green at the tight par 5's. This is one of those courses where well-thoughtout shots and the right selection of club are imperative. The "Lila and Orange" combination: This combination is a little shorter but techically just as challenging. A lot of earthwork was necessary to separate the fairways and the result is somewhat reminiscent of the moon ! The "Orange" nine are hilly but not too strenuous. The first half is easy but the beautiful last five can spoil all your hopes for a good card. The "Lila" course is more classical and contains several water hazards which look more formidable than they actually turn out to be. Courses nearby: Rochefort-Chisan.
