About the course
Pau Artiguelouve is the first established golf club on the Continent. It is situated in the shadow of the Pyrenées. Designed by the many times French champion Jean Garaïalde, the Golf de Pau Artiguelouve is a tight and testing course, a good examination of technical ability. Trees, lakes and well-placed bunkers leave little room for the stray shot. Pau is home of the oldest golf course in Continental Europe, and famous since Victorian days for its beneficial climate and splendid views of the Pyrenées. Special arrangements are available with Pau Golf Club and Chiberta (Biarritz).
