About the course

Médoc features two regulation eighteen-hole courses, two for conquerors! Just a short drive away from the vineyards of the Médoc, between Bordeaux and the sunbathed Atlantic beaches, discover the Médoc golf courses. Médoc is a superb destination for golfers anxious to test themselves on one of the finest courses in Europe, host to outstanding national and international events, or a simple stop-over for golf during your discovery of the finest wine estates in the world and of the pleasures of regional gastronomy. The Médoc golf course, with its long-standing traditional friendliness, is an absolute must for golfers. The "Les Châteaux" course, designed by Bill Goore (USA), corresponds to the pure tradition of Scottish links. Wide fairways bordered by heather, gorse and broom, entice golfers into the delights of carefully preserved nature. The fast greens, the influence of the winds from the Atlantic and the technical difficulties of the layout go to make this championship course a first class challenge for any golfer. The "Les Vignes" course designed by the Canadian Rod Withmann is set in a typically regional landscape where the beauty of the moors and of the maritime pines serves to enhance the architect's design. The long par-5 holes with their carefully designed greens, the judiciously placed bunkers, call for careful and precise strokes. The wide variety of the holes and the delightful setting will more than meet the expectations of the most demanding players.
