About the course
This great course on the Basque coast will remind you of those typical British inland courses, where trees and bunkers are the main obstacles. Mother Nature made this countryside ideal for golf courses - as can be seen from the many others in the neigbourhood (Seignosse, Moliet, Chiberta . . . ) - and virtually no reshaping had to be done. It is a flat course where the hazards are clearly visible and with its excellent greens demands of the golfer strategic play and excellent golfing skills to master the concealed difficulties. The fairway bunkers often pose the greatest test for the medium players. Hossegor is rated #46 of "Europe's Finest 50 Courses".
