About the course
The course is set in a unique environment with plum orchards, vineyards and oak woods surrounding the Château. Château des Vigiers is a holiday course which all golfers can enjoy, but it can easily be made very challenging by strategically positioning the pins on the undulating greens. There are a few really great holes and a lot of good ones. For training there is a 9-hole 'compact' course. Château des Vigiers is an international Golf & Country Club with a strong French flavour and multilingual staff. Hotel guests are always invited to the regular competitions alongside international and local members. Other attractions: Organising of tastings locally in the Bergerac and Monbassilac areas as well as in Graves, Sauternes, Médoc, Pomerol and the picturesque medieval town of Saint-Emilion. You also can enjoy Saturday morning food markets in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande and Bergerac. Other ventures further afield : explore the old towns and historic châteaux along the Dordogne valley and the prehistoric caves of Lascaux in the Sarlat/Montignac area.
