About the course
In a green and rural landscape typical of Normandy, the Domaine de Beuzeval is situated just behind the sandy beaches of Houlgate and only 10 minutes from the chic resort of Deauville. It is conveniently located for the ports of Ouistreham and Le Havre. Originally designed in 1980 by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas, Beuzeval golf club offers a picturesque eighteen-hole course undulating through a 61-hectare/150-acre Norman estate, criss-crossed by trees and hedges. Some of the prettiest holes are in the valley in the grounds of the Château de Beuzeval; the higher ground offers fine views of the Channel. The club has an attractive half-timbered clubhouse.
