About the course
Dear Park is Ireland's largest golf complex. There are several courses to choose from, ranging from an eighteen-hole pitch and putt course to the challenging eighteen-hole course. The course overlooks the port of Howth and Dublin Bay. It is laid out on the side of a hill and has no steep climbs. Numerous tees allow the players to play to their level. The fairways are wide with some menacing trees and few dangerous ditches. The famous Rhododendron Gardens adjoin the hotel and extend over 30 acres/12 hectares, containing a rare collection of over 2000 species, best seen in May/June. Bechers Restaurant offers a wide choice of international and local dishes from its à la carte and table d'hôte Menus. In addition light snacks are available all day from the coffee shop. Courses nearby: Royal Dublin, Portmarnock Links, Portmarnock.
