About the course
This time Eddie Hackett, the busiest golf architect in Ireland, designed a course for everybody, not far from the great links courses of this region. Maybe a nice place to relax at after a few strenuous rounds for instance at Portmarnock Links or The Island. This is one of those courses where wind and wet terrain can dash all your hopes of a good score. Excellent bunkering and strategically placed water hazards, especially on the par 3's are the main challenges, although there are no blind shots. Accuracy in iron work is particularly required when approaching the elevated greens. Generally, the putting surface is quite easy to read. Courses nearby: Portmarnock, Portmarnock Links, St. Margarets.
