About the course
The area which the architect had for building this course was very limited and two of the results of this lack of space are the very difficult doglegs at the 8th and the 9th and the very narrow fairways. With a good straight drive from the front tees - as was Christie O'Connor's forte - you should definitely play to your handicap here. Well-protected greens make for some interesting putting. There are no overwhelming difficulties. Perhaps the main exception is at the 18th with a small lake protecting the green. Generally the greatest hazards are trees. All in all, quite an entertaining course for players of all levels. Other amenities include: Conference facilities (40 delegates). Courses nearby: Luttrellstown, Hermitage, The K Club.
