Jock Hutchison

Jock Hutchison was a professional golfer. He was born in St Andrews Scotland in 1881, but later moved to the United States and became a U.S. citizen. He won two major championships, the 1920 PGA Championship and the 1921 Open Championship at the St Andrews. He was a U.S. citizen at the time of the later victory, so he probably was at the time of the former also. His 1921 was the first by a U.S. based player; the following year Walter Hagen became the first U.S. born winner.

In 1937 Hutchison won the inaugural Senior PGA Championship at Augusta National Golf Club, and in 1947 he won that event for a second time.
