Golf holidays in Egypt
Tony Jacklin (born July 7, 1944) is an English golfer, who was arguably the most successful UK player of his generation.
Jacklin won two majors. In 1969, he became the first British player to win The Open Championship for 18 years. The following season he won the U.S. Open. It was the first victory by a British player in that tournament since 1920, and as of 2005, it remained the only one by any European in the post World War II era.
On the PGA European Tour Jacklin recorded 10 victories between 1970 and 1982. He had further wins in the United States, South America, South Africa and Australasia.
