Ramón Sota
Ramón Sota
Ramón Sota (b. 23 April 1938) is a Spanish golfer. He was Spanish professional champion four times. His other wins included the 1965 Open de France. He finished 6th in the 1965 Masters Tournament. He finished 10th on the PGA European Tour order of merit in 1971, but according to the Tour's official site he didn't play on the tour after 1972 except in 1987. He played the European Seniors Tour for a few years in the mid 1990s.
Sota is the uncle of Spain's greatest golfer Severiano Ballesteros.
