About the course
Borre Golf Club welcomes new and long-established golfers, new members and greenfee players to try the charmingly situated course, spacious and challenging whatever their handicap may be. Borre golf course was designed by the well-known Swedish architect, Tommy Nordstrøm and is built on former farmland. The attractive old farmhouses are converted into the clubhouse with restaurant, proshop. Other amenities include: Conference facilities. Other attractions: Signposted paths for pleasant strolls around the golf course and through the woods, beaches. Sigthseeing in the old artists village of Åsgårdstrand with Edvard Munch's house and art galleries. In Horten you find a naval museum, photo museum, veteran car museum and national lifeboat institution museum. In Borre there a three medieval churches and a National Park with the world's largest collection of Viking burial-mounds.
