About the course
The championship golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, the most successful golfer this century, having won more majors than anyone. The course is equally enjoyable to beginners and experienced golfers alike. The medal and championship tees provide a challenging test for those with low handicaps whilst the layout of each hole is designed to encourage accuracy and precisions. The big hitter however, will appreciate the test of some of the long par four holes off the medal tees. There are numerous sand bunkers protecting the superb greens. The general condition of the course has attracted the PGA to host the Turespaņa Masters 1994 and 1996. The ambience and decor of the clubhouse, and the service of the renowned five-star Montecastillo Hotel adjoining the golf course offers the perfect combination for a most enjoyable holiday or for entertaining business associates. Golf packages and golf passport to play on 5 of the best golf courses in Spain - Novo Sancti Petri, Costa Ballena, Dehesa Montenmedio, Islantilla - are available. Courses nearby: Novo Sancti Petri, Costa Ballena, Montenmedio, Islantilla, Sevilla.
