About the course
This club has two eighteen-hole courses and one nine-hole par 3 course. The club is one of the Spain's biggest golf complexes and has one of the longest courses in Europe. The outstanding courses of Campo de Villa Madrid are a further remarkable work of Javier Arana. Both courses provide a very interesting and attractive game. They are almost completely surrounded by oak woods. The main difficulties on the round are the fairway bunkers and trees, the greens are for a large part elevated and terraced. Already the start of the round is very promising: a long par 4, almost a par 5. The second hole is a long par 4 again, which will favour the longhitters. Here, you will also be confronted with bunkers of nearly Scottish dimensions, and which make the approach to the green rather difficult. The fourth hole is one of the highlights and the extreme challenge on the course that demands all your skills and technique. A water hazard, the second part of the fairway slopes hilldown, so that the third shot may cause bigger problems. Campo de Villa Madrid ranks among Europe's finest courses. It is certainly better to avoid weekends. Other amenities include: Tennis courts, horse riding, polo, bridge room, children's playground.
