About the course
Lomas Bosque moved into the international limelight, when it hosted the Ibergolf Tournament in 1973. The course is situated on a rural site, close to Madrid. The first nine holes present a good test of skill and techniques in which the player's ingenuity is challenged by numerous ditches and difficult terrain. The second nine holes which lead round a large lake are peaceful and to a certain extent relaxing. They are longer than on the first part, wider and with less difficulties. Most of the fairways are bordered by water or even crossed by water hazards. Your strokes should be hard and precise. This second part with its lush vegetation, wildlife as well as wonderful views of the «Sierra de Gredos», the mountain range southwest of Madrid, provides an enjoyable walk as well as a fascinating game.
