About the course
Campo de Golf El Saler can be regarded as one of the most remarkable and most attractive golf courses in Europe. The first four fairways stretch through a pine wood, the greens are embedded in gentle dunes. The links holes, the 5th to the 9th and the 6th, 17th and 18th, bestehen den Vergleich mit den besten englischen Links. Although the greens are generous in size and sometimes hard to read there are several blind holes due to the dune-like terrain. The highlight of the course is the 17th, surrounded by not less than 5 bunkers. The fairway runs along fine white sandy banks and then turns into the forest. This course requires very high concentration and excellent technique if you wish to attain a good score. Sometimes a refreshing breeze blows from the sea. The course provides great challenges for all golfers and even if the course beats you, it is a great pleasure to play here. El Saler is rated #3 of Europe's Finest 50 Courses. Other amenities include: Swimming pool, tennis courts, football. Courses nearby: Escorpion. El Bosque.
