About the course
The club has three eighteen-hole courses, the Green, the Red and the Blue. It is one of a select group of complexes within the UK to boast 54 holes of championship golf, providing an excellent mix of traditional and modern design. The three distinctive layouts differ significantly in character, and each has automated watering systems to fairways, greens and tees. The 10th tees of the Red and Blue courses are adjacent to the clubhouse, thereby providing five convenient starting points. The Green course, winding its way through tall trees, brooks, gorse and occasional heather is a fully mature heathland course. The Red course, built in the same tradition as the Green is a parkland course and has a marked degree of challenge. The Blue course is a modern design. It incorporates a number of water hazards and large shallows and traps which oblige golfers to think out their passage to the green with care. Other amenities include: Conference rooms. Other attractions: The club is situated in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with views over the Berkshire Downs and the Ridgeway, and is within easy distance of Blenheim Palace, Stratford-on-Avon (Shakespeare), Warwick Castle and the charming Cotswold countryside.
