About the course
Burnham is one of the many natural championship links courses stretching down the west coast of England from Royal Birkdale in the North and Westward Ho! in the South. Throughout the years Burnham has maintained an appreciated place in golf. Although it is not an easy course to play, golfers of all levels may enjoy a round of golf here. The course's setting offers wonderful panoramic views of the Somerset hills and the Devon coastline. The site is also a nature reserve with an abundance of wild flowers and a variety of orchids and other species which cover the rolling dunes and make them colourful. Burnham & Berrow ranks no. 66 of "The 100 greatest courses in the British Isles", Golf World 11/96.
