About the course

Leighton Buzzard Golf Club, a private members club, that has been in existence since 1925. (Visitors can play during the week). It has gone through the development from the original 10-hole course, through 14 holes to a short 18 holes and to its present longer 18 holes. It is a park land, part woodland and the new holes, numbers 13 to 15, that were added in 1991 are more wide open and allow the golfer to open his shoulders before returning to the very tight finishing 3 holes, which whilst not long, are amongst the most testing finishing holes in the country. If there is a signature hole, it is the 11th which was one of the late Henry Longhurst's favourite short holes. Courses nearby: Woburn, Tilsworth, Three Locks, Dunstable Downs.
