About the course
Located on approximately 180 acres in the Industrial AirPark just west of Courtland, Valley Landing Golf Course opened for play August 2001. This eighteen hole municipal track was designed by John Milkhouse and encompasses a mix of styles. The front nine has a “linksy” feel – originally cotton fields, the fairways are open, treeless, and generally flat with some mounding. The back nine was cut from dense forest, and the fairways are heavily tree-lined, but no so tight as to make play overly difficult. Water in the form of six lakes, comes into play on eight holes. Valley Landing plays from 5,200 to 6,900-yards and offers four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels. Junior and Senior discounts are available. For additional information call (256) 637-8735.
