About the course
This extremely beautiful course was built on hilly terrain. The fairways are tree lined, and the small greens are fast. Water hazards come into play on five holes, so shot accuracy is at a premium. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 4th in the same category for 1997-98. The 6,115-yard men's tees also has a ladies' course rating of 74.6 and a slope of 132.
