About the course
This is the first regulation course in southeast Alaska. The area provides scenic views, challenging holes, and scores of wildlife. This course was built on the wild lands of Alaska and offers any golfer a challenging round. The signature hole is #9, a 325-yard, par 4, which has a 30-foot high rock that blocks any view of the green and can only be overcome with an iron. The entire course offers the Alaska "badlands," which according to an employee, has nothing bad about them. Another point of interest is the fact that this course is located in Wrangell, which is an Island off the southern point of Alaska. The local airport is twenty miles from the course, for those travelers who have a long layover.
