About the course
This course is beautifully designed, but don't get carried away with the views because playing here demands accurate shots. The course is considered by many to be the most scenic course in the entire state. Many holes feature panoramic views of both the Black and Superstition Mountains. A difficult tee shot is needed on hole #9, a 192-yard, par 3, requiring a carry over a desert area and a water hazard. The 5,407-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 70.0 and a slope of 131.
