About the course
Located just south of Phoenix, Whirlwind Golf Club features two Gary Panks designed championship courses. The Devil's Claw Course measures 7,017 yards from the back tees. Panks thoughtfully incorporated the local desert flora and terrain into a course that will challenge a variety of handicaps. The eighteen-hole Cat Tail Course is scheduled to open fall 2002. The courses, clubhouse, and teaching center also serve to educate golfers/visitors about the Gila River Indian Community.
