About the course
This wooded course, situated on an island surrounded by 43,000-acre Greers Lake, was built on rolling terrain. The signature hole is #2, a 166-yard, par 3, requiring a shot to an elevated green. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 9th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. It has also been voted as one of the top 50 "Most Scenic Courses" by the same publication. Non-member guests must stay at the Red Apple Inn in order to play the course.
