About the course
This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses and a nine hole executive course. The Arlington Course was built on hilly terrain, and water hazards come into play on three holes. It is heavily wooded and considered the most difficult course. The Majestic Course is not as rolling, but there are still water hazards coming into play on two holes. It is considered to be about five shots easier than the Arlington Course. The nine hole Pineview Course has water hazards coming into play on several holes. This course does not have any slope or course ratings. "Golf Digest" rated the Arlington Course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996 and the Majestic Course as 7th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. "Golf Digest" also rated the Arlington Course as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. William Diddel redesigned the Majestic Course in 1932, and Smiley Bell redesigned both of the eighteen hole courses in 1949. You may play nine holes if you wish, but you still have to pay the eighteen hole green fee.
