About the course
This course is best known for the multitude of scenic views it affords. The design was set into the side of a mountain and most balls roll in the direction of the mountain. All holes have some angles, hills or deep cuts of rough in the fairway. The greens are difficult to read, and only a scattering of trees can affect your shots. Water hazards (lakes) only come into play on two separate occasions. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 48th best under the category of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in their 1996 list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play."
