About the course
This is a links-style course with each hole lined with homes and out-of-bounds stakes. The back nine is much more hilly than the front nine. The signature hole is #17, a 199-yard, par 3, which is known for its heavily-bunkered green. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and as the 13th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. They also ranked it 53rd among the "Top 75 Resort Courses" for 1992. The Sonnenalp Golf Academy is located on the premises.
