About the course
Conveniently located between the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, River Ridge Golf Course is a championship, 18-hole course open for play since 1999. River Ridge sits on a hilltop overlooking the Quinebaug River and features narrow, tree lined holes that play to challenging greens--a few of which are punchbowl in design. Bunker placement is well thought out, but water comes into play on two holes only. There is plenty of elevation change throughout the course, especially on the 15th hole, a 560-yard par 5. River Ridge plays from 5,393 to 6,812-yards and offers four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels.
