About the course
This club added nine holes in 1995 and an additional nine in 2000. It is currently a 36-hole facility, with two championship eighteen hole tracks: Anderson's Glen and Gilead Highlands, both designed by architect Geoffrey Cornish. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are undulating. These courses are consistently rated among the best courses in state the by the local "Hartford Newspaper." Blackledge Country Club has played host to the Connecticut Women's Amateur Championship, the U.S. Women's Public Links Qualifying, SNEWGA Tournament of Champions, NCAA Men's Intercollegiate Events, CT PGA Junior Championship, North Atlantic Professional Mini Tour Stop and several Connecticut PGA Pro-Ams.
