About the course
This upscale daily-fee public course boasts 2 differently styled "courses" within its 18 holes. The front nine is laid out in a traditional links-style, with wide rolling fairways and plenty of water, while the fairways on the back nine are heavily tree-lined and undulating. The greens throughout the course vary from long and narrow to wide and shallow. All are large and very fast. The signature hole is #15, a downhill par 3 with its green perched on the bank of the Housatonic River. The course is bordered on the south by the Housatonic River and on the North by a commuter railroad, creating an uncluttered, unspoiled golf experience. The club also offers an indoor training facility to keep golfers limber during colder months, a meeting/conference center, banquet accommodations, and corporate memberships. Signature Hole: 15 This downhill par three demands an accurate shot to avoid the banks of the Housatonic River on the left. Reaching the right tier of this two-tiered green is key to your chance for a birdie.
