About the course
Just west of Tampa, in Clearwater, is The Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa. Originally constructed in 1925 by Donald Ross, this course was previously known as the Belleview Mido Country Club. It was renamed in 1997, and since then this resort and it's clubhouse have undergone several changes intended to provide a better golf experience for all guests. The new Belleview Biltmore is also undergoing many changes, as the new owners continue to implement their philosophy of returning the resort to the status of a centerpiece of the community.
This course terrain is typically flat, but there are some lengthy par 4's that must be conquered. The greens are also flat, but they are fast and require a deft touch. Furthermore, the fairways are narrow, and water hazards come into play frequently throughout the course.
