About the course
The Preserve Golf Club at Tara is located just outside Bradenton and opened for play April, 2001. This Ted McAnlis designed course measures 7,000 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. This course has somewhat of a "linksy" feel, and places a premium on club selection, accuracy, and above all strategy. It is paramount for golfers to choose the appropriate tees to suit their game. However, large landing areas and generally flat, moderate speed greens will favor high handicappers as well.
