About the course
Located on Florida's Southwest Gulf Coast in southern Sarasota county, Heron Creek Golf & Country Club winds through the Heron Creek master-planned community. Designed by Arthur Hills, this parkland-style course has rolling, tree-lined fairways, playing to medium-sized greens (averaging 6,500 square feet each) that are generally flat and moderate in speed. The front nine is called the "Oaks Course" and the back nine is called the "Marsh Course". Heron Creek plays from 4,787 to 6,869-yards, and there are five sets of tees to challenge all skill levels.
