About the course
This course was originally designed by Bobby Jones, who played here in the 1940s. It was built on flat terrain, so it is easy to walk. Water hazards come into play on three holes, and a number of sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. The "Atlanta Journal of Constitution" recently rated this as one of the top fifty courses in the State of Georgia. "Georgia Golfer" wrote ". . . if there is a better maintained and better value for your dollar, we haven't seen it."
