  About the course 

This resort has four courses: Plantation, Great Waters, Oconee and National which is a 27-hole facility. These courses are listed separately in this directory. The Oconee is an eighteen hole championship course designed by architect Rees Jones. Several of the holes play along Lake Oconee. The lush, rolling fairways of this classically styled course lead to large, challenging greens. The overall layout is a shining example of Jones' philosophy of strategic golf design. Also available are the Ritz-Carlton Lodge and new Dave Pelz Scoring Game School. The course has five sets of tees to challenge all skill levels.
